Made using only the finest grapes grown on small vineyards, our wines are chemical-free throughout the farming and vinification process.
We always let vineyard native yeast ferment the grapes so you can truly taste the terroir from which they are grown.
Our wines are made to be approachable now or to cellar for many years to come.
With love and passion, we bring you small-batch, hand-crafted wines that we are proud to serve and drink.

During an evening of drinking amazing wine with winemaker Aaron Pott, Shamus bluntly asked him, "hey Aaron, do you know anyone who would sell us a small quantity of super high end Cabernet grapes?" Slowly he replied. "I know a lady up here on Mt. Veeder. She may not be too fond of me, but if you can get her to sell you some grapes..." He gave Shamus the contact info for Lisa Chu. Lisa agreed to meet us even though all of her grapes are allocated to high end producers. We met and hit it off. Even though it was more work for her, she agreed to sell us a ton of prime fruit. 2012 couldn't have been a better growing season for our first wine and we couldn't be more pleased with her fruit,

THORNLEA - Syrah/Viognier co-fermintation; Santa Cruz Mountains
Broken Arrow Vineyard
Our love for French Wines led us to making this Côte-Rôtie style wine. We personally tend to this densely planted vineyard of Syrah (90%) and Viognier (10%). Switching the vines from Cordon to Cane training allows us to keep the yield low, and quality of fruit high.
